Tillia is keeping our country green!  Teric & Synthrapol have been replaced by SANDOCLEAN

Teric is under investigation overseas for suspected residual damage to waterways.  As a result, Tillia

is no longer stocking this product.  Instead, I now offer Sandoclean, a biodegradeable detergent that performs the same duties as Teric but without polluting our streams and oceans.

Remove excess dye from fabric and make it colourfast.  Also removes any sizing or stiffening in fabric,

making it ready to accept dyes.
Will also remove “colour runs “ from pieced fabric.

Used to thicken PROCION MX dye for screen printing, painting, stamping, rolling or to control spreading.

Apply your dye directly to the fabric instead of immersing it.

SOY WAX FLAKES

If you've ever wanted to use wax as a resist and were put off by the problem of fumes and the difficulty in removing it from fabric, this is the wax for you.  Soy wax is a renewable resource made from soya beans.  It has a lower melting point than beeswax or paraffin wax, so it's safer to use and you don't need to use a respirator as it's cleaner burning and has fewer fumes.  And best of all, it washes out in hot water!  You can use it for batik designs, or simply as a way of of applying resist to patterns where you're using multiple dye baths.  250 grams for $12

TJANTINGS (pronounced "cantings")

These are the tools specifically designed to work with wax.  You pour the hot wax into the bowl and "draw" with the tip where the wax flows out. Large tip only left            $16 each
